Bridge and Matt got married at Valentin Riviera Maya, huge and beautiful resort just minutes north from Playa del Carmen, amazing place and terrific wedding coordination staff. Just look at Brigitte eyes… Matt is a firefighter, together they make an all-around adventurer and fun couple! This wedding had everything, amazing getting ready moments, a heartfelt gazebo ceremony, crazy reception dinner and day after session. For this wedding I had the honor and pleassure to work along my friend César Rioja, he delivered amazing shots. Here are the photos:

Ceiba del Mar is an intimate, beautiful quaint resort located in Puerto Morelos, just some minutes south from the Cancun airport, I have had the pleasure of working there several times before, and they have always been very kind and helpful. Lisa and Jason’s families are so diverse and funny, they even have a bit of a latin touch, which I love. They put together a beautiful ceremony and reception, but we didn’t had much time for portraits, so we decided to do a day after session, drove to downtown Puerto Morelos and hit the pier. I specially loved Lisa’s natural hair style for those pictures. Here they are:

Dreams Tulum is a beautiful resort, and their wedding staff is one of the most professional and hard working in the area, in case you’re looking for a venue to get married in (hint, hint). Nicole and Jonathan chose DT and they were blessed with amazing blue skies, and a warm evening. These two are one of the sweetest couples I have ever had the pleassure to work with, can you tell by the photos that she’s a natural model? The day begun with the getting ready time, and since her bridemaids were her sisters, this time was very intimate and heartfelt.

The Dreams Riviera Maya, just 10 minutes away from the Cancun airport, has become one of my favorite destination weddings spots. The managment is amazingly kind, the beach is small and private, and they have one of the most beautiful reception areas I have ever seen. That, plus a couple like Ashly and Jon, well, just made and unforgettable wedding. They and their whole wedding party were SO MUCH FUN to work with, I’ll let the images speak for themselves:

Laura and Greg chose the beautiful The Royal to have their wedding. The Royal is right at the heart of Playa Del Carmen, and it’s a very popular venue for destination weddings. Laura and Greg make an adorable couple, funny and relaxed. For dinner, I got to seat at the “party animals” table. It was quite an experience! The morning after the ceremony we took a walk on the beach, and then went downtown for more pictures. Thanks guys, you really made me feel welcome.

Charlotte and Kyle got married in the massive and beautiful Iberostar Paraiso Riviera Maya. The whole day was just magic, with a nice fresh breeze, a very ligth rain, and a cajun style restaurant for the reception. BUT, what i enjoyed the most was these guys’ ability to look amazing on camera, just check out their portraits! Great job guys!

I don’t even know how to begin describing how incredible this wedding was to me. Dan and Jennifer are just amazingly kind, Dan is the best host ever, he took care of everything food-related, showing great skills in the cooking department, and even visited my table making sure everything was ok. For their wedding they picked the really old and beautiful Hacienda de Cortés in Cuernavaca. The reception had this cozy and intimate feeling, and i heard some of the most heartfelt speaches. Guys, you really made me feel like family, i’m forever in your debt. Thanks for an incredible experience! I have never done a full monochromatic postprocessing on a wedding before, and it was great! Ok, onto the good stuff…

Karina is tiny, energetic, and has a lovely smile. Arturo is relaxed and easygoing. That combo, plus Juriquilla, just made a dream wedding. This wedding had outstanding details, for instance, their lazo was one of the most interesting i have seen. This was the second time i shot two weddings in one day, and while the experience is nothing short of amazing, i really don’t recommend doing it, unless you have a whole week to recover… BTW, the chef at Juriquilla makes the most unvelievably tasty chicken burgers… Onto the pictures:

Hazel and Jonathan got married in the beautiful little porfirian-age church of El Niño de La Paz, right in the middle of the Zona Rosa area in Mexico City. These guys were really fun to work with, they were goofing around and laughing the whole time. After the ceremony we walked around in Reforma Ave. for some portraits, and then moved way up north in Mexico City to the Danzalagua venue for the reception. Danzalagua is a very nice place, even for portraits (we took a couple more over there). Jonathan’s dad changed into a cooler outfit, and played with the band for the B&G! That was great. I posted a couple of pics from their e-session, too.

These two are some of the coolest couples i have worked for. They are fun, laid back, and have amazing careers. They got married in the awe-inspiring San Ignacio church, in Polanco. At the reception they surprised everybody with a great coreography. Just after the wedding, they moved to the shores of Lake Geneva. I envy you guys

As you can see, these two really CAN DANCE. I really enjoyed this wedding, thanks guys!
