Charlotte + Kyle, Iberostar Paraiso, Riviera Maya

Charlotte and Kyle got married in the massive and beautiful Iberostar Paraiso Riviera Maya. The whole day was just magic, with a nice fresh breeze, a very ligth rain, and a cajun style restaurant for the reception. BUT, what i enjoyed the most was these guys’ ability to look amazing on camera, just check out their portraits! Great job guys!

Jennifer and Dan – Hacienda de Cortés, Cuernavaca, Mexico.

I don’t even know how to begin describing how incredible this wedding was to me. Dan and Jennifer are just amazingly kind, Dan is the best host ever, he took care of everything food-related, showing great skills in the cooking department, and even visited my table making sure everything was ok. For their wedding they picked the really old and beautiful Hacienda de Cortés in Cuernavaca. The reception had this cozy and intimate feeling, and i heard some of the most heartfelt speaches. Guys, you really made me feel like family, i’m forever in your debt. Thanks for an incredible experience! I have never done a full monochromatic postprocessing on a wedding before, and it was great! Ok, onto the good stuff…

Eduardo and Byki in Guanajuato

Have you met a couple and instantly know they are the perfect match? Well, Eduardo and Biky are that kind of couple. They complement each other in so many ways, it’s hard to describe. Byki is dutch and have the most contagious laugh, Eduardo is a true mexican gentleman. We walked around in Guanajuato for pictures, and then came downtown for a very spirited callejoneada, with a little help of several galons of a very punchy red wine:)

New website!

As promised, my new portfolio website is now live… Got there right now:)http://www.samuelluna.com/

I’ll be switching mail servers also, so i might miss a few incoming emails, but i’ll try to follow up on everything.

This transition was really time consuming… i should write an article on how NOT to migrate websites…

The last hiccup… hopefuly…

I know i have been neglecting my blog for a while, but trust me, it’s for a good reason. I have been moving around my websites to keep things simple. A couple of months ago, the admin tasks of the blog, the clients site and my normal portfolio website reached a point where it was really difficult to manage.

Expect really nice things to come in the following days (hint: have you checked out this blog on your iPhone? if not, do so!). And don’t forget to check samuelluna.com sometime next week…
