		<title>Jes and Marco, Desierto de los Leones</title>

To see them in their unmodified state, please view the original post by <a href="http://samuellunablog.com/portraits/jes-and-marco-desierto-de-los-leones/">clicking here</a>.</b></em></p><p>Jes and Marco had never been to the <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Desierto_de_los_Leones_National_Park">Desierto de los Leones National Park</a> and they ended up loving it just as i do. The main building of the park is an awe inspiring 17th century Carmelite ex-convent. The whole place has a sense of history, peace and reverence that just keeps me coming back every once in a while. J&amp;M had a great time just walking by and exploring the place. Here are a few shots from the day:</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Hay un proyecto muy generoso en marcha, se llama &#8220;Giving is Awesome&#8221; y aunque se lleva a cabo mayoritariamente en USA y Canada, decidí aportar mi granito de arena. Espero que otros colegas se sumen a la causa. Este es el mecanismo:</p>
<p>Seguramente conoces a alguien (una persona, familia, organización) que merezca una sesión de fotografía pero que no pueda pagarla. Nomínalo para recibir servicios y productos de fotografía grátis con un valor de 750 USD. Si tu nominado gana, tú ganarás servicios fotográficos con valor de 250 USD. Fácil.</p>
<p>La fecha límite para enviar tus nominaciones es el 8 de marzo de 2009. El ganador se anunciará el 30 de marzo del 2009.</p>
<p>Para nominar a alguien, usa la forma de contacto en el menú superior de esta página, o manda un email a sl@samuelluna.com incluyendo toda la información necesaria para contactar al nominado, y una pequeña historia acerca de él (o ella, o ellos). Gracias de antemano por participar.</p>

These guys were really fun to work with, they were goofing around and laughing the whole time. After the ceremony we walked around in Reforma Ave. for some portraits, and then moved way up north in Mexico City to the Danzalagua venue for the reception. Danzalagua is a very nice place, even for portraits (we took a couple more over there). Jonathan&#8217;s dad changed into a cooler outfit, and played with the band for the B&amp;G! That was great. I posted a couple of pics from their e-session, too.</p>
